Our Mission
Philadelphia Ministries is a fellowship of friends that exists for the purpose of learning to live in the love of our heavenly Father, celebrate that love together in spiritual body-life, and gather in new friends who want to share the same journey.
What We Believe
The formation of
our list of core beliefs is never meant to be bigoted, judgmental or
exclusive. It is simply meant to be descriptive and informative
for those who would like a concise statement.
- Salvation is by Father's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone
- Obedience to Father's Law is our joyful response to the Sacred Romance He has already initiated with us.
- Scripture is the authoritative testimony to the living and active Word of God (Jesus Christ) and holds for us much encouragement, correction and empowerment
- The Second Coming of Jesus Christ will soon be a literal, visible, post-tribulation, pre-millenial event
- The Holy Spirit guides the body of Christ through His distribution of spiritual gifts in which every believer has the privilige of contributing to the growth and wholeness of the entire congregation
- We delight in the weekly Sabbath, a day of rest to celebrate Father's creation, remember His redemption, and anticipate His ultimate restoration
- State of humanity in death is one of unconscious soul-sleep, waiting for the resurrection
